St Neot Church

Loading...

The Church of St Anietus at St Neot in Cornwall dates to about 1425 and is built in the perpendicular gothic style. The wagon roofs over the nave and aisles are original, but the roof over the chancel is part of the 19th century restoration which also features the rood screen and carved angel corbels. The windows still contain some of the glass from the 16th century, although they were much restored in 1830. In the north west corner there is a very fine slate tomb chest dedicated to William Bere and his family.
