Key Elements

IN is called when Kite 1 is at >85 ^10, flying horizontally; all kites follow Kite 1 on that horizontal line. Each kite in turn (Kite 1 first, at leftmost position) turns up sharply. After flying upwards, all kites make a right turn of approximately 105° simultaneously. All follow the (originally) last kite along a straight diagonal line pointing towards the wind-window's lower right corner. OUT is called when a kite reaches ^10.p

NB There is a discrepancy between the OUT point on the diagram and in the description. If in doubt go with the diagram.
