Key Elements
- keeping the kites in the given positions during circles
- relative size of circles
- close meetings at top and bottom (less than a half a wingspan apart)
Call IN when the kites are flying towards centre window, at <50. Both kites fly horizontally, the top one with the leading edge of the kite in the flying direction, the bottom kite flying sideways. These kite positions relative to the flying direction will stay the same while flying the circles. Both kites start flying the circle at the same time, the bottom kite flying large circle, the top kite the two smaller ones. When they arrive at the bottom meeting point again, the flying direction is turned 180°. The kites themselves do not turn. Call OUT after at least 50% horizontal flight; the top kite flying backwards, the bottom kite sideways.
