Views from the Tower

I had a trip to Cambridge at the weekend which included going up the tower of Great St Mary’s church. It was quite a climb up a very narrow spiral staircase. Luckily there were plenty of places where you could stop to get your breath and let people going in the opposite direction pass.

Looking North - the view includes Trinity, St John's and Gonville & Caius colleges on the left and All Saint's and Holy Trinity churches on the right.Looking North

Looking East - the view includes Holy Trinity church, Market Hill and the market place and The Guildhall.Looking East

Looking South - the view includes the Guildhall, the Arts Theatre, St Edward's and St Benet's churches and King's College.Looking South

Looking West - the view includes King's College and Chapel, Clare College, the University Library, Trinity Hall and the Senate House.Looking West

The photos were each made from three RAW originals from my Fuji F600 processed in Lightroom and stitched together using PTGui.
