There were two that I couldn&#8217;t recognise and I had to ask on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.birdforum.net\/forum.php\" target=\"_blank\">birder&#8217;s forum<\/a>. It turned out they were a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rspb.org.uk\/wildlife\/birdguide\/name\/b\/blacktailedgodwit\/index.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">black-tailed<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rspb.org.uk\/wildlife\/birdguide\/name\/b\/bartailedgodwit\/index.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">bar-tailed godwit<\/a>. The photo&#8217;s not the best &#8211; I wasn&#8217;t quite close enough and I was having to shoot at 800ASA &#8211; but I&#8217;m still quite pleased to have photographed two birds at the same time that have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rspb.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">RSPB<\/a> red and amber status.
